Puff count and size
Disposables are usually sold by their rated puff count, and that number is a rough guide to how long the device lasts. A smaller device is easy to pocket and good if you want to try a flavor without committing. A larger, higher-count device costs a little more up front but tends to last longer per dollar. Pick the size that matches how often you actually vape.
Nicotine strength
Most disposables list a nicotine strength, often shown as a percentage or in milligrams per milliliter. Higher strengths hit harder and are usually meant for heavier or former-cigarette smokers. Lower strengths are smoother. If you are stepping down or you find a device too strong, ask the counter for a lower-strength option. There are also zero-nicotine disposables if you want the flavor and the draw without the nicotine.
Rechargeable or not
Newer high-count disposables often have a USB-C charging port. The liquid still runs out eventually, but a rechargeable battery means the device is not dead before the juice is gone. If you are buying a larger device, it is worth checking whether it charges, so you get every puff you paid for.
Flavor
